| This is a company you are probably very familiar with. Pamela Byrd Smith has been designing since 1984. In fact she just released her 25th Prairie Schooler Santa, so we just had to celebrate by featuring her as our designer of the month. Along with her Santas there is so much more, 151 charts to be exact. I love that she numbered them, it makes it so much easier to make sure you collect them all. From Barn Cats to the latest December chart, these primitive styled, Americana designs have been a cross stitching standard. The Prairie Schooler is located in Prairie Village, KS, thus the name. I have been collecting and stitching these designs for practically as long as I have been stitching. The current releases are fun and interesting, as well as being somewhat familiar and heartwarming. New this month are When Witches Go Riding, November, December and Santas & Snowmen. I can't seem to pick a favorite although I really love the verses for November and December which are kind of following the calendar and seasonal theme that were also a part of the Spring releases earlier this year.
