FUN at RETREAT JOIN US THIS FALL
2008 FALL Stitching Retreat October 23-26 We are full for this Fall's Retreat, but we will be posting dates for Spring '09 soon. (NOTE: We are planning something a little different for Spring so keep checking back for more details). call us for more information (405) 748-5999 or Toll Free (877) 748-5999
Staying down in the canyon is just beautiful in either the Spring or Fall. Guests can enjoy the comfort of the lodge or venture out to explore the beauty of the canyon.
We will have a kit or two to share with everyone, (usually one for each day you attend) and LaRheta (aka the bag lady) will have something interesting, but always a surprise, made up as our gift to you just for attending. No schedules other than meals and no pressures to stitch anything but what you want.
We have a great time every fall and spring at Canyon Camp. It is located in a section of the Red Rock Canyon area about 45 minutes west of Oklahoma City. We stay in the Hardt Lodge, a very nice relaxed hotel-like facility, with our stitching room right there in the lodge. Please join us this Fall.

You can choose to join us starting on Friday afternoon and finishing after lunch on Sunday for $170; or grab an extra day of fun by arriving Thursday afternoon for an additional $45.00. We even have a Saturday-only day rate of $45.00 that includes the special gift, one kit and all three meals for the day. This is a great option if you are just testing the waters, or prefer sleeping at home.

Prices include all lodging (including linens) and all meals, beginning with supper on the day of your arrival and ending with lunch on Sunday. Most meals are served in the camp's Dining Hall, cafeteria style. It's not gourmet cuisine but simple fair, plus a great salad bar every lunch and supper. Of course we usually have so many snacks in the stitching room that meals are only a secondary issue.
Beginning May 1st you can reserve your spot by paying $65 down, half of your remaining balance will be due by mid-July and the final payment is due 30 days prior to the start of camp (Tues., Sept 23rd). A $50.00 fee will be charged for any cancellations made prior to Sept. 23rd, but no refunds will be made in the last 30 days prior to the retreat. But our camp/retreat is too fun to miss out on. So gather up your friends and call today for reservations. For information, or to reserve your spot, call us at (405) 748-5999 or toll free at 877-748-5999
Our retreat is designed to give you a fun relaxing environment to stitch, snack, chat with friends, make a few new friends and even shop a little (or a lot)..
As you can see in the picture to your right each room has two twin beds and one queen size bed and a private bathroom (not shown). There is even a dresser (with extra blankets) and a small table and chairs that you can't quite see in this picture. We will place a minimum of 3 people to a room (feel free to tell us who you want to room with) and a fourth only with your approval. We have reserved more rooms again this fall so round up as many friends as you want. You can even reserve a room for only two people but your rates per person increases by $35.00 each. Sheets and towels are provided but only one set for the entire stay so some of us bring along extra towels. I even bring my favorite pillow from home.
Our meeting room is large and roomy, set up with round tables that easily seat 5 to 6 people and all their necessary supplies and equipment :-). Starting this fall we will have a separate adjoining room to set up all the things we bring from the shop (we rent a cargo van if that gives you a hint), so now we will have even more room for campers. The large windows bring in great light but after dark things can get dim so most everyone brings along some kind of light (and power cords). You will also want to bring a seat cushion of some kind as any chair can get hard after a couple of days. I always email all this info and more to all the campers about 30 days prior and we are available to answer any questions you think of too.
